Our Deer Lakes Lancers Football season has ended, leaving a trail of history in its wake!  First, they achieved the status of a 'winning season' (first time since 1995) and headed into the first round of WPIAL playoffs (something that has never been achieved in Deer Lakes football 41-year history) after securing a second place conference finish!  Deer Lakes' post season appearance was short, after losing to Beaver Area at Lancers Stadium on Friday November 5, 2010 at 7:30 pm.

We would like to thank the entire community for their terrific support and backing of the Lancers during their quest this season.  The memory of the Lancers success will live on in the minds of all.  The positive impression left on our young athletes will feed their own drive for success in their upcoming careers and the Lancers Spirit will live on.

And most of all, THANK YOU to our Lancers players for playing your hearts out and giving everyone a glimpse of how to overcome the odds and come out on top!  The excitement and the memories of this season can never be taken away.  This town will always be grateful.  And for the underclassmen on the team; this is not the end, but rather a new beginning ... it's now your turn to continue the journey!
