A view of Lancer stadium in 2010 as Deer Lakes hosts another WPIAL Playoff game. This was a special occasion as the Lancers participated in this post-season game for the first time in school history.

Renovations in 2004 to Lancer Stadium made Deer Lakes the proud owner of the top outdoor sports facility in the Allegheny Conference. The playing surface is Sportexe OmniGrass®, a state-of-the-art synthetic turf. With its combination of firmness, durability, and cushioning, Sportexe OmniGrass® scored highest amongst 21 other major synthetic surfaces in testing for shock absorption and traction.

The playing surface was not the only upgrade. The track was replaced and the stadium lighting was upgraded to a superior level. The front entrance to the stadium also received a facelift which gives all visitors a warm welcome.
